Summer Manicure...
Hi! I just wanted to share this summery cute French manicure that I found while browsing on-line. I love the colors and think it is such a creative way to do a pastel manicure this spring. I am addicted to nail art and I get super excited when I see something I haven't dont before. As a French manicure loyalist, I’m intrigued by the diagonal tips in this design. I don’t know that I would have ever thought to do that, but I have to say, I love the result! I haven't done it on my self yet so I thought I'd just use the picture that inspired me for this post.
To do a diagonal tip on your French manicure, you would either need to tape off the section that you will be painting white ahead of time, or just have a really steady hand and use a brush for a little bit of a softer edge. It almost looks snow-capped in this photo...
What do you think of this funky French manicure? Is this something you think you would try, and if so, what colors would you use? Let me know below!
Décor Idea: Flower Jar
Hi there people! I saw this idea for a lovely flower jar while browsing on-line the other day and fell in love with it so much just had to share! I'm totally doing this when I renovate my room this summer!
To make a pretty rose jar like the one above, the pinner suggests clipping rose heads before the flower has died to ensure they are open and in bloom like the ones above. Then carefully arrange them within a glass container and seal with a lid!
This jar makes a great table accent, bookend, or would even be a pretty centerpiece. The size of the jar will make a big difference in this craft, so just pick something proportional to the rest of your setup. :)
Do you save any flowers? What are some other nice things you can do with them?
