WHAT'S YOUR SIGNATURE SCENT?

Hey guys.

I dont I've ever blogged about perfume on here, which is shocking since I'm completely obsessed with perfume and have been for a while! I have a small collection going that I love and am very proud of.
This might seem a little strange but I'm always curious to know what people would have as a favourite Perfume.

Tell you what, I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours!


Basically the picture below contains a picture of my entire perfume collection thus far and the three smaller pictures on the right are the three faves. What??? you really thought I'd be able to pick just one? HA!

1. MAMBO - Liz Claiborne
 - Great perfume and my number one favourite. Mambo captures the rhythm and flirty spirit of the women who wear it. Its sensuality dances across the skin with rich notes of succulent mango, vibrant mandarin and the intense floral essence of ylang. Hypnotic notes of orange blossom, pink ginger, and the seductive aroma of red hibiscus make Mambo more intense. 2.  GOLDEN DELICIOUS - DKNY
 - Smells heavanly, and great for a date night or an evening where you want to seem mature and sexy. DKNY Golden Delicious celebrates luxury and splendor with its rich and accentuated aromas of juicy 'Golden delices' apple, accompanied by orange blossom and Mirabelle plum. An opulent floral heart offers a bouquet of white roses, surrounded with Casablanca lilies, lily of the valley and vanilla orchid, while base caresses with notes of musk followed by a sensual woody trail of sandalwood and teak. AMAZING!

3. FOREVER - Mariah Carey
 - Though its a Celebrity Perfume, It actually smells great. Its sweet, sexy and it radiates "pretty" ... if that makes sense! It is a modern and opulent floral rhapsody, opening with neroli, lotus and green apple. Innocent and pure notes are supplemented with accords of tuberose and gardenia at the heart, while the base consists of sensual white musk and exotic wood. Combining notes of white flowers in this fragrance, its creator wanted to create sensual femininity and glamour…DEVINE!

MY FALL FAVS: BUNDLING, BOOTS & BUBBLE BATHS

(Disclaimer: This is an old post that was saved into my drafts and I just realized that. Hence, this post about fall when we're currently almost into spring)

Happy Monday and happy October guys! I’m so excited for fall because it’s my favorite season! I know I say this every time the seasons change…well, okay, I admit it: Every time a new season comes around, I tell you guys it’s my favorite, LOL. In the wintertime, I get super excited for Christmas and cookies, in the spring I get excited for lovely weather, and in the summer I get excited for beach days. But I’m being completely honest with you when I say that fall is hands down my favorite season!

1. I love getting all bundled up by a the tv in a warm blanket with hot cocoa. Fall weather isn’t quite so cold where you’re freezing—it’s just the right amount of chilliness that makes you want to bundle up. I love wearing cozy socks and comfy pjs around the house on chilly fall days.
2. My second favorite thing about fall is fall boots! Autumn is absolutely my favorite season for fashion because I love being able to wear more layers than I do in the spring or summer, but it’s not so cold that I really have to pile all of my big puffy jackets on. Boots are the perfect footwear for fall, and I just love looking forward to wearing mine each season. This fall, I’m really loving the look of short booties. 3. My third favorite thing about fall is bubble baths.This might be TMI but I love taking warm, relaxing baths and lighting pumpkin or cinnamon candles because those smells really gets me in the mood for the changing of the seasons. I highly recommend the Fizzbanger Bath Bomb by Lush because it has these little “pop rocks” that fizz in the water, so if you close your eyes it sounds like a crackling fireplace!

DEAR COFFEE:

I think I must be really craving caffeine this morning (and thinking about My  Dear Coffee posts from a while ago), because I decided to write this letter to my trusty friend, coffee.Dear Coffee…It’s been a while since I have posted about coffee on here, but by now you should know that I really love you. LOL, so I really do think about you a lot. But today I want to chat about how I have a whole latte love for your cousin, the latte…See, coffee, I really love you but I’m also super into lattes right now. They’re made with a shot of espresso (or two or three if you are really needing a boost!) and steamed milk, which is foamy and delicious. Lately I’ve seen so many different latte options at coffee places around White Rock and I’m interested to try them. You can get a latte with whole milk, nonfat milk, soy milk, almond milk, and even coconut milk at some places. And on top of that, there are tons of flavors out there like vanilla, chocolate, hazelnut, and many more. So basically there are so many ways to customize your latte.Anyways, coffee, I don’t want you to think I don’t love you still—I do! I’m just having a bit of a latte moment. A Saturday Sweet Song : How Do I Breathe?

I Need Some Coffee Loving...

I never thought I’d say this, but I am really loving coffee these days. I just started drinking it randomly a while back and now I probably have a cup every morning. I even find myself craving the taste when I wake up and now I have a cup pretty much every morning.

 I guess you could say my coffee habit was inevitable considering my mother has one of those super easy to use kettle thing. Since it's is so simple, I haven’t had to learn how to make coffee the traditional way. I just buy the little coffee cans, pop some in my cute little Disney mugs and voila—I have a deliciously yummy cup of hot coffee. I like French Vanilla coffee mix that you can buy from Tim hortens or I like nestle coffee powder with some French vanilla flavoured syrup and a splash of milk.

When I’m craving something a little sweeter I use almond milk since it definitely gives it a nice warm nutty flavor. I also add in some sugar too, which add a tad of sweetness as well. But if I'm making the coffee then I make it pretty darn strong. I really like the almond milk and FV syrup combination because it makes me feel like I’m drinking a super sugary, Starbucks-like drink that’s actually a lot more healthier than it tastes. Recently, I’ve dabbled into iced coffee when I’m out and about with friends, but I’m still not hooked on them yet. Usually I only drink them when my friends get one… Maybe it will catch on soon? Do you drink iced coffee? If so, any suggestions for me?

I used to live Timmies Iced caps and now I prefer the Regular McDonalds Iced Coffee's!

• I know every hee-hee and every pow and shamone’s in every song.
• I basically only have Twitter/Facebook to promote Michael Jackson
• I know which album every song comes from, what year it came out, the awards it’s won and EVERY WORD of the songs
• I fell into a trance, listening to Planet Earth

•  I preach to others about the wonderfulness of MJ. even if they're strangers.
• my friend stubs her toe, shrieking OWWW. I always add the “hee-hee” before I ask her if she’s okay.
• I will randomly moonwalk around the house, in public .. pretty much anywhere.
• I have tripped or fallen over something while moonwalking.
• I scoff at the MJ imitators because I know there can never be the same angel again.
• I've listened to EVERY album at least a million times
• I spaz on anyone who says anything negative about him, then launch into a gigantic rant with EVERY FACT that ever existed.

• I sometimes try and force my friends to become obsessed with Michael Jackson
• Instead of writing History, I write HIStory.
• I can’t really listen to anyone else because it just sounds worse
• I Try to sneak him into every conversation topic I'm having with someone
• I know what IJCSLY stands for
• I Went into a sorta semi-depression when he died
• I know millions of inside jokes that only MJ and the fans would know. ex: pond, black flappin, fish. (LOL)

these are only SOME POINTS I might be continuing this when I log back on blogspot. lol I'll also be making one for ms. Jackson if you're nasty! lol

what is Love?

I think love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs.
Love is what’s in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen.
If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate.
Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday.
When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn’t bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That’s love.
When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you.
You really shouldn’t say ‘I love you’ unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget.


The above are answers from children aged from 4YO to 8YO when asked "what is Love?" This completely surprised me that little children as young as 4 Know what love is and have such a firm grasp of its meaning. Its really beautiful.
