MY FALL FAVS: BUNDLING, BOOTS & BUBBLE BATHS

(Disclaimer: This is an old post that was saved into my drafts and I just realized that. Hence, this post about fall when we're currently almost into spring)

Happy Monday and happy October guys! I’m so excited for fall because it’s my favorite season! I know I say this every time the seasons change…well, okay, I admit it: Every time a new season comes around, I tell you guys it’s my favorite, LOL. In the wintertime, I get super excited for Christmas and cookies, in the spring I get excited for lovely weather, and in the summer I get excited for beach days. But I’m being completely honest with you when I say that fall is hands down my favorite season!
  1. I love getting all bundled up by a the tv in a warm blanket with hot cocoa. Fall weather isn’t quite so cold where you’re freezing—it’s just the right amount of chilliness that makes you want to bundle up. I love wearing cozy socks and comfy pjs around the house on chilly fall days.
  2. My second favorite thing about fall is fall boots! Autumn is absolutely my favorite season for fashion because I love being able to wear more layers than I do in the spring or summer, but it’s not so cold that I really have to pile all of my big puffy jackets on. Boots are the perfect footwear for fall, and I just love looking forward to wearing mine each season. This fall, I’m really loving the look of short booties. Stay tuned for some posts about my favorite fall bootie styles coming up soon ;)
  3. My third favorite thing about fall is bubble baths. This might be TMI but I love taking warm, relaxing baths and lighting pumpkin or cinnamon candles because those smells really gets me in the mood for the changing of the seasons. I highly recommend the Fizzbanger Bath Bomb by Lush because it has these little “pop rocks” that fizz in the water, so if you close your eyes it sounds like a crackling fireplace!

Now tell me, what are your three favorite things about fall?

How To Cover Up your Dark Circles Perfectly!! Goodbye Dry and Cakey!

When the circles under your eyes are the first thing people notice, take fast action to neutralize the circles. Watch out, though, because your fix might cause even more problems if you don’t choose a moisturizing product and apply it right. Cover up dark under-eye circles without making them look dry and cakey to create a smooth and flawless skin tone on your gorgeous face

 1. Wash your face with your favorite cleanser and pat your skin dry gently with a soft towel.

 2. Slather on the moisturizing eye cream under your eyes while your skin is still slightly moist from washing. Rub in the cream gently to the entire area under your eyes.

 3. Apply a light layer of liquid concealer under your eyes, touching the applica
tor oh-so-gently to the skin. Don’t go crazy with the concealer -- start with just a smidgen and use more if you need it.

 4. Rub in the concealer with your clean fingertips to coat the skin and make the circles disappear. Keep going until you work the concealer in completely.

 5. Check your face out in the mirror. If you can still see shadows beneath your eyes, apply another light layer of concealer and work it in again with your fingertips. When your skin looks flawless, you’re almost done.

 6. Add a light layer of foundation over your entire face, blending it into the areas under your eyes carefully. You don’t need to cover the under-eye area with foundation -- you already did that with the concealer. Just blend the concealer and the foundation seamlessly for a perfect look.

 7. Load the makeup brush with the light powder and dust it over your face carefully. The powder will help set the concealer and foundation, keeping it from creasing, drying and looking cakey.

Tips & Tricks:

  • Match your liquid concealer and foundation perfectly to create an impeccable finish!!

My Fave Looks: Side Braid

Wavy hair might seem hard to manage. Add a bang to the mix and it gets even tougher. If you're having difficulty taming your tresses, you've just got to learn some styles that work with your wavy hair, straight-side-bang look. Work a messy braid, a classic bun or let your locks hang loose.

Messy Braid

Intentionally messy styles are perfectly on trend. Since your hair is already wavy, you've already got that great volume that you'll need to really pump up your look. To get the look, just pull your hair to the side and loosely braid it, securing it with an elastic band. Let your bangs hang swept to the side and you're all set.

Pull It to the Side

Sweep your hair to the side. Just make sure that you're wearing your hair on the same side that you sweep your bangs. Since you've already got waves, you can skip the curling iron all together. Just shampoo hair, add a little mousse, part it to the side and let it air-dry. Once your locks are dry, you'll have a chic, sexy, ultra glamorous look.
